New website helps volunteers, patients find clinical trials at UCD Health

Interested in participating in a clinical study at UC Davis Health and not sure where to find the latest information on which studies are currently accepting healthy volunteers as well as individuals who meet specific study criteria? The new UC Davis Health Study Pages website, https://studypages.com/ucdavis/, aims to make that search a lot easier.

Developed by the UCD Clinical and Translational Science Center, the site is a resource for both investigators who are conducting leading-edge studies and individuals who are interested in participating.

The site provides all of the information potential participants need when they are considering enrolling in a study, and it also gives investigators a robust tool for recruitment, scheduling and analytics.

Users can:
* Browse open studies by a wide range of study categories, from healthy volunteer and women’s health to cancer and pediatric studies;
* Sort by type of clinical study, such as those that evaluate a device, drug, behavior or patient registry; and
* Search by study center, such as the MIND Institute, dermatology department or Alpha Stem Cell Clinic

The website includes a description of the study in easy-to-understand language, the number of visits to a UCD clinic that would be required, eligibility requirements, benefits of participating as well as compensation. It also provides contact information and links to a profile where potential participants can learn more about the principal investigator of the study.

More information is available at the UCD Clinical Trial Helpline at 855-823-1660.
